The El Lago brand name was purchased In 1997 by SG Mexican Foods, Inc. Headquartered in Austin, SG continues to manufacture a comprehensive line of products for the Retail Market, Restaurants and Food Service.

El Lago's tostada chip, "The Restaurant Chip," is made from stone ground white corn and prepared with 100% Canola Oil. We pay a premium to use Canola Oil for its recognized health advantages and to enhance the real corn taste. Our corn tortillas are made from natural corn and corn flour with a range of size and color combinations available to meet special requirements. The flour tortillas (regular and whole wheat) are made to puff like home made when heated properly. We use the finest ingredients and work to produce the highest quality products for our customers.
El Lago's plant consists of 52,000 square feet of manufacturing capacity, enough to meet the growing needs of our customers.
